When submitting an application and including a link to an online presence that you wish to share with a potential employer, ensure that the associated social media profile is updated. Having up-to-date job titles, employment dates and accomplishments is a great way to tie back to your resume. If you are comfortable in sharing to social media sites, this can be a great way to share your work abilities with a potential employer — particularly if you are not able to include certain pieces of information in the job application. A lot of branding happens on social media platforms – ensure your online presence reflects the brand you want to sell.
