> Here is a video showing WLS’s VVM labeling capabilities
VVM stands for Vaccine Vial Monitoring. VVM labels are used to monitor, or verify, that a vial has not exceeded its allowable temperate range throughout the lifecycle of packaging and transportation.  The VVM label will change color(s) if the temperature has been outside of the required range, giving clear indication if a vaccine should be rejected prior to dosage. As the global vaccine market expands and access to vaccines widens across the globe, there is an increased need for vaccine vial monitoring in pharmaceutical packaging.
Vaccine Vial Monitor labels can be applied using the WLS LA-2000 label head, either as a stand-alone labeler or integrated into a vial labeling machine. This WLS solution accurately and efficiently applies the monitoring labels while also verifying the presence and placement on the vial with a vision inspection system. Vial monitor labels can be applied to the top of a vial or the side of a vial, along with the pressure sensitive product label(s).
