> Pharmaworks will introduce its new TF1 Blister Machine at Pack Expo/Healthcare Packaging Expo, in booth SL-6501 in the South Lower Hall
ProMach Pharma Solutions will be exhibiting in the Central Hall at Pack Expo, adjacent to the rest of the ProMach organization. But did you know we will also have a second booth in the South Lower Hall?
And, Pharmaworks will be introducing its new TF1 Blister Machine in that South Lower booth (SL-6501). The South Lower booth is officially part of Healthcare Packaging Expo, co-located with Pack Expo.
The brand new TF1 is a cost-effective blister machine suited to low-volume production. Built with simplicity in mind, this entry-level machine requires minimal training and minimal maintenance. Delivering the same features as more complex machines, the TF1 is designed to be easy to operate and affordable, while offering straightforward cleanability and quick changeover.
Although compact in size, the TF1 can produce up to a 90mm x 165mm blister with a maximum draw depth of 25mm. It can thermoform many types of materials and can optionally be set up to cold form. This machine can integrate the same feed systems and printers that are used across the TF1 family of machines.
“We listened to our customer base, and we heard that some of our entry-level customers and customers with low volumes want to buy a Pharmaworks blister machine, but sometimes budget prevented it,” said Ben Brower, general manager of Pharmaworks. “So the Pharmaworks design team went to work to deliver the same quality that our customers expect from Pharmaworks, but in a simple package that would be affordable. The result was the new TF1.”
Brower added, “The development of the TF1, along with its features and price point, has been very well received by prospective customers already, and we are excited to officially unveil it during Healthcare Packaging Expo in Las Vegas.”
Features of the TF1 include contact heating, motor driven stations, and servo indexing with print registration – all normally found only on larger and more complex blister machines.
The TF1 offers a simple HMI system that is intuitive to use.
The system requires little operator training. By scaling the complexity of the control system down, Pharmaworks has created a practical machine that allows the user to very clearly see the process, set up the machine and make changes – with changeovers routinely taking less than 10 minutes.
Due to the simplicity of its design, the TF1 requires fewer wear parts and fewer spare parts relative to competitive systems, which reduces maintenance. The TF1 complies with cGMP standards.
In addition to the TF1 exhibit at Healthcare Packaging Expo, Pharmaworks will also concurrently exhibit in booth C-3414 in Pack Expo’s Central Hall in Las Vegas, as part of ProMach Pharma Solutions. Subsequent to Healthcare Packaging Expo and Pack Expo, Pharmaworks will again exhibit the TF1 in booth #5317 at SupplySide West at the end of October, also in Las Vegas.
