We’ve wrapped up another great Pack Expo show – talk about a big success! The ProMach Pharma Business Line booth was full of our latest equipment, dozens of helpful team members and more visitors than we can count.
Debuting for the first time, the new LP-100R label printer from WLS collected a crowd. This on-demand solution eliminates the need to inventory distinct labels for each product without sacrificing speed or quality. Capable of producing high-impact visual graphics in full color or black-and-white, as well as the highest graded codes, it’s perfect for manufacturers and contract packers who need extreme flexibility and top-of-the-line quality.
Another one of the hottest technologies on display at Pack Expo was the Dara HSL-PP/4 aseptic filling and closing machine for vials, now offered by NJM in the U.S. and Canada. Ideal for high-capacity, high-changeover lines, this fully servo-driven system runs up to 200 vials per minute using four heads at each station and can be customized to suit the needs of each biopharmaceutical customer.
NJM’s brand new Trotter 127 pressure sensitive labeler was also a hit. Building on the design of the popular Trotter 126, the Model 127 now offers even more flexibility and ease of use when applying wraparound, front-and-back and 3-, 4- and 5-panel labels to round, square, rectangular and oval bottles. At the Pack Expo show, we integrated it with OPTEL’s BottleTracker to achieve in-line serialization and facilitate aggregation on automated lines.
Also, a big congratulations to Sylvain Thibault and Richard Gauthier of NJM for being honored with the ProMach Superior Performance Award for going above and beyond for our customers. Way to go, guys!
We are saddened to say we lost a great man this month. Charles Lapierre helped build CLI (Charles Lapierre Inc.), which merged with NJM many years ago. He was a true leader in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
