Rockwell & NJM Partner at Automation Fair in Chicago, November 18-19, 2015
The Automation Fair in Chicago provides attendees with running equipment using Rockwell Controls for their packaging equipment. At this year’s annual event, there will be two conferences during the Automation Fair. Life Sciences and OEMs will speak on the changing healthcare landscapes.
The first conference is Wednesday, November 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. covering expiring patents, generic competition, pricing pressures and regulatory scrutiny that are prompting life science leaders to adopt business models delivering better patient outcomes at lower costs. The leveraging of manufacturing as a business asset allows companies to stay ahead of demand with improved traceability and reduced cycle times.
The second conference being held on Thursday, November 19 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. brings industry leaders together to develop integrated control and information system architectures to harness production intelligence in improving operations – from formulation to factory, optimization, safety and how to get the most from your plant assets. The Global Machine & Equipment Builders (OEMs) conference discusses how Smart Manufacturing is driving new priorities for end users as they look to optimize their production and supply chain by bringing together islands of information – directly impacting OEMs. As end users pursue Smart Manufacturing, they need OEM partners that create smart machines that easily integrate into a facility, provide access to information, and enable agile reaction to changing market demands all at the annual Rockwell Automation Fair in Chicago at the end of this month.

This print & apply machine offers a simple operation with fewer moving parts, a smaller footprint and an affordable price point while maintaining the rugged reliability. The versatile Model 402 Print & Apply achieves vertical and horizontal labeling of cases, cartons, and bags at speeds up to 60 per minute. With a variety of application tools, it applies side labels, corner wrap labels, and top labels using either a tamp-on or wipe-on applicator.
