You can count on NJM equipment to always offer several standout advantages – heavy duty construction, extreme ease-of-use, minimal maintenance and more, backed by our world-class aftersales support. From there, we help each customer select the perfect machine for their specific application and objectives.
For secondary packaging, our new Model 403 Final Touch Print & Apply Labeler can be designed and built do virtually anything customers might need when labeling cases and shrink wrapped bundles. Debuting next month at Healthcare Packaging Expo Booth W-703, the 403 has a modular design, flexible PLC controls and a variety of optional label applicator tools, all of which maximize versatility. It can apply side labels, top labels, corner wrap labels and two-panel labels, as needed, and even features a swiveling yoke option to quickly switch between top and side labeling configurations. For further customization, the Allen Bradley PLC allows for additional inputs and outputs for different inspection systems and other controls that the customer might require.
Thanks to its impressive flexibility, the 403 Print & Apply Labeler is ideal for many types of products including pharmaceuticals, foods, beverages, cosmetics, household chemicals and more. For pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract packers, we can design the Model 403 to facilitate serialization and aggregation by connecting the printer to a plant-wide network and/or cloud-based communication system and integrating an optional vision system and reject device to automatically remove packages with faulty labels from the line.
The new 403 doesn’t slouch on speed either – depending on the application, it can label cases and bundles at speeds of up to 60 ppm. Recipe-controlled electronic adjustments enable the labeler to be changed over to handle a new package and label size and configuration in less than five minutes with no tools required.
