Pharmaworks is pleased to announce the promotion of Kevin Rentz to Applications Engineer, based at our Manufacturing and Operations center in Odessa, FL.
Pharmaworks has announced the promotion of Kevin Rentz to Applications engineer. Pat Taylor, our HR Specialist, sat down with Chad Tyler (Director of Sales at Pharmaworks), and with Kevin himself, to ask a few questions about this strategic promotion.
Pat: My first question is for you, Chad. What exactly is an Applications Engineer at Pharmaworks?
Chad: Great question Pat, here at Pharmaworks our Application Engineers work as a bridge between our customers, our engineering teams and often outside technology providers. They utilize customer input and sales information to provide our customers with the best possible turn-key solution to meet their particular requirements. They truly are the conduit of problem solving here at Pharmaworks. They bring everything together so we can present our customers with innovative world class turn-key solutions.
Pat: Chad, why the addition to your Applications Engineering Team?
Chad: Our Sales team is doing a tremendous job to grow the Pharmaworks market share, not only in North America, but globally. Pharmaworks is in growth mode, and we need the additional horsepower in our Application Engineering team to keep up with customer demand. More and more customers are turning to Pharmaworks for innovative turn-key solutions and that is exactly what we do best. Everything from tooling, vision inspection solutions, to rebuilds/upgrades and new turn-key lines, Pharmaworks is a one stop shop when it comes to Blister Packaging.
Pat: Kevin, can you give us some details about your background, and share your thoughts on moving into your new role?
Kevin: Sure! I joined Pharmaworks on 7/21/2014 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. I have spent the last several years working with our Aftermarket team focusing on rebuilds and upgrades, which is a distinct expertise at Pharmaworks, as we are known for rebuilding/upgrading many different manufactures of blister machines and cartoners. I am thrilled to be taking on this role here at Pharmaworks. I am looking forward to working with such an ambitious group, and eager to have a hand in future growth.
Pharmaworks wishes Kevin success in his new position. We are sure our customers will enjoy working with him in the future!
