We’ve wrapped up another great Healthcare Packaging Expo, and this year the ProMach Pharma Solutions booth was even bigger and better than ever!
One system that drew a crowd was the Autonomy IV digital label printer from WLS. Featuring a UV-curing, drop-on-demand (DOD) printer, Autonomy can print everything from high-impact visual graphics in full color to human-readable codes and most barcode formats, including serialization info. It can be used to print variable data on pre-printed labels or on-demand print the entire label from ‘bright stock.’ Ideal for both manufacturers and contract packers, Autonomy can help with quick turnarounds, production planning flexibility, inventory reduction and/or multi-lingual printing.
Debuting for the first time was the Courser 230 vial/syringe labeler from NJM. This compact system can be built to handle both vials and syringes or dedicated to one or the other, with the option to later modify the system in the field. In fact, NJM can even configure each Courser to label bottles, ampules, cartridges, centrifuge tubes, auto-injectors and other small or unstable packages. By enabling a wide variety of packages to be labeled on a single machine, Courser maximizes production versatility while reducing floorspace requirements and the cost of investment.
And that’s just scratching the surface! We also exhibited the Cumulus Model SLPP-15 case packer, Trotter 127 pressure sensitive labeler, beltorque high-speed capper and UNISORT 32 bottle unscrambler, all from NJM, as well as the VR 72 trunnion labeler from WLS. On top of that, we had Dara’s SX-310-PP/D aseptic filling, stoppering and capping machine for vials and Cremer’s CFS-622*4 tablet counter on display, both available in North America from NJM.
We’d also like to give a big shout out to Eric Bolduc of NJM for being honored with a Superior Performance Award from ProMach. He always goes the extra mile to put our customers first. Congratulations, Eric!
