Ideal for solutions, anesthetics, blood plasma, glucose, antibiotics, dialysis and more, the compact SX-170 meets cGMP and US-FDA guidelines for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. This versatile, easy-to-use solution is designed to handle a wide variety of flexible preformed bags, including EVA, PVC, PE and PP, with single or multiple chambers and most types of ports with quick changeover. Running at speeds up to 3,200 bags per hour with dosing volumes between 50 to 10,000 ml, it’s available with rotary piston pumps, peristaltic pumps or a time/pressure dosing system.
For sterile applications, the SX-170 can be tailored with a laminar air flow (LAF) or restricted access barrier system (RABS) to ensure a permanent and reliable expulsion of particles and microorganisms from the working area. An optional ISO 5 isolator containment system reduces the sterile area to the filling and closing system, which allows the equipment to operate in a Class D cleanroom.
Additional options are available, such as gas flushing, a vibratory bulk infeed hopper, process data acquisition software, particle monitoring and counting, printing/codification and much more.
