Pharmaworks, the newest addition to the ProMach Pharma Solutions family, has expanded their facility! Utilizing the previously open land on the Pharmaworks site, they’ve more than doubled the size of their engineering and assembling building – it’s now 55,000 square feet in total. Pharmaworks also has another, 30,000-square-foot building at the same site dedicated to tooling and more.
“Our company is almost 20 years old and we’ve been bursting at the seams for some time. Business has been really good! It was time to get more floorspace to keep up with customer demand for our solutions,” said Ben Brower, Director of Sales & Marketing at Pharmaworks. “We had two goals for the expansion. Our first goal was to consolidate all engineering services into one area, allowing for more efficient design interaction. We integrated mechanical engineering, tooling engineering and controls engineering, as well as documentation. Our second goal was to expand the assembly/ production area. This will allow for larger line integrations and enable us to utilize the full power of ProMach.”
ProMach acquired Pharmaworks earlier this year, strengthening their solid-dose product portfolio and enhancing their integration services for a broad range of applications. Known for their wide variety of robust and flexible blister packaging solutions, Pharmaworks supplies everything from semi-automated thermoformers to fully-automated systems capable of speeds up to 600 packages per minute. They also offer feeding, transferring and cartoning, collating and vision/inspection systems.
