That’s why we’re introducing the Trotter 127 pressure sensitive labeler at Healthcare Packaging Expo Booth #W-703. This multi-functional labeler is similar to our popular Trotter 126, which we’ll continue to offer. What’s the difference? While the Trotter 126 is PLC-based, the new Trotter 127 is PC-based with controls from B&R Industrial Automation. Featuring an operator terminal with an integrated controller, it’s ideal for manufacturers and contract packers looking to maximize production flexibility and ease use at an affordable price point.
Versatility is one of the stand-out features of the Trotter 127. We can configure it to apply wraparound, front-and-back and 3-, 4- and 5-panel labels to round, square, rectangular and oval bottles, including spray cans and containers with handles. It’s suitable for a wide range of applications including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics and personal care products, household chemicals, food products and more.
With the new B&R controls, we can set up a highly intuitive user interface that features simple icons on a large, 10-inch color touchscreen. The standard model can be configured to track rejects and provide OEE auditing without additional control modules, and it offers remote access with an integrated firewall. Because it features fewer controls and drive components, the Trotter 127 eases maintenance and speeds troubleshooting.
When it comes to reliability, the Trotter 127 can’t be beat. Like the Trotter 126, it’s built with high quality components, heavy-duty construction, an open bed frame, raised-bed conveyor and servo-driven label dispenser to achieve repeatable performance, low maintenance and long equipment life.
