Cremer Tablet Counter with Optel Maximizes Production Flexibility
At Interphex NYC, taking place from April 26-28, 2016 at the Jacob Javits Center, NJM Packaging is excited to introduce the Cremer CFS-622*4 tablet counter with Optel CountSafe™ vision inspection system and automatic tablet ejection. Ideal for manufacturers and contract packagers that bottle tablets, capsules, and softgels, the Cremer CFS-622*4 runs at speeds of up to 200 bpm. Introducing one of these tablet counters means maximized production flexibility, as well as ease of use and high product quality at high throughputs.
We’ll be introducing the Cremer CFS-622*4 in Booth #2353. This workhorse can accommodate up to four counting modules, and its patented counting modules each feature six discharge channels. Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers and packagers can start off with just one or two modules and add additional modules as the need arises. The footprint remains small, but the throughput increases.
Not only does the Cremer CFS-622*4 guarantee 100 percent counting accuracy at high speeds, it also can be integrated with Optel’s CountSafe tablet inspection to guarantee 100 percent rejection of rogue tablets, defects, broken products, and foreign material. The integration ensures this tablet counter doesn’t cross-contaminate or package broken product and reduces customer complaints and recall risks.
CountSafe verifies the color, size, and shape of objects and detects variations. If non-conforming tablets, softgels, or capsules are detected, CountSafe stops the vibratory plate and activates the tablet ejection system to seal the non-conforming object in a closed bin, all in less than 5 seconds. We are exhibiting other equipment at Interphex. Coming next time is the debut of the Dara MODULINE ™, which has integrated one unique solution, an Aseptic Filling Line inside an isolator for containment. Check back for more on this all new machine from NJM at the Show in April.
